Professional Biography

Dr. Dennis Sanchez Rosemartin began teaching in the School of Education at Salem State University in Fall 2015. He received his PhD in Teaching and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona and has a MA in Bilingual and Bicultural Education from Teachers College at Columbia University. Dr. Rosemartin is a former elementary school teacher and a returned Peace Corps volunteer. He continues his commitment to service through service learning projects in the courses that he teaches. Dr. Rosemartin’s current research looks at climate change literacy of pre-service teachers and their self-efficacy about teaching climate change in elementary schools.
