Jennifer El-Sherif graduated from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Before coming to Salem State, Jennifer taught K-12 physical education at various public and private institutions across the country. Her research looks at ways to increase student participation and engagement in K-12 physical education and adult participation in physical activity. In spring 2015 Jennifer will be teaching SMS 177 Introduction to Health and Physical Education; SMS 480 Philosophical Aspects of Physical Education and Sport; SMS 485 Directed Field Experience in Physical Education; and various theory and practice courses through the SMS department.
