Professional Biography

Experienced Adjunct Faculty with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry for both private and public colleges. Skilled in hands on science education. Regular training in STEM academic success and inclusive educational methods. Annual AP Biology exam reader. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Immunology from Columbia University.

Professional Interests

Lately I teach mostly environmental science and intro-biology labs for non-majors at Salem State. Educating students from non-science disciplines, about science, for the simple reason of becoming educated, appeals more than teaching those who already love the subject.

Personal Interests

I love nature and the woods. I am a parent of two young adults,and one mini-labradoodle. I grew up in MN. I’m Ivy League educated, and I have a PhD in molecular immunology. I spent decades in NYC and more recently became a suburbanite north of Boston. I am HSP and INFJ personality. My sexuality is queer and my pronouns are she/her/hers.
