Xia He

Xia He is an international student advisor and China program coordinator for the Center for International Education. She provides advising services to international students including immigration regulations, cultural adjustment, and community involvement. Xia also serves as the point person for all Chinese programs. Xia earned her master’s degree in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University and is enthusiastic about learning languages and cultures from students from all over the world. Xia is a native speaker of Mandarin and also is conversant in Cantonese. Before joining the CIE staff, Xia was an international and study abroad advisor at Simmons College. She has also worked as a business analyst at the Genzyme Corporation.
